Christmas in music
An album, a choir and stage memories: Jeane Manson’s Christmas music archives.
Jeane Manson chante Noël
The “Jeane Manson chante Noël” cover presents Jeane Manson with the Alexandrov Red Army Choirs. It reads “en concert en France 1998”, retained here in its archival context.
Stage memories
The photographs gathered in this story show Jeane Manson on stage with a choir and orchestra, and in a Christmas show. The “Medley de Noël” artwork completes this selection of musical archives.
Tribute to the Alexandrov Red Army Choir
This Christmas album, recorded live, bears witness to the precious moments I shared on stage with the Alexandrov Red Army Choir. It brings back the power of their voices, the emotion of our performances and the warmth of the audiences who joined us.
For me, these recordings are far more than a musical memory: they keep alive a human and artistic encounter that left a lasting mark on my career.
I dedicate this live album to the memory of the artists of the Alexandrov Ensemble and their director, Valery Khalilov, who tragically lost their lives on 25 December 2016. My thoughts also go out to all the victims of this disaster, their families and their loved ones.
Through these Christmas songs, I wish to share with you the emotion of our concerts and pay tribute to those whose voices continue to move us.
With all my affection and gratitude. I will never forget you.
Jeane Manson
