Life
Paris, 1974: a guitar and a suitcase
In August 1974, Jeane Manson flew to Europe with very little luggage and plenty of plans.
Setting off
In August 1974 she left California in search of new adventures as an artist. She chose to settle in Paris.
Quickly at home
She adapted quickly to French culture. She shot her first French film, “L'Acrobate”, directed by Jean-Daniel Pollet, with Claude Melki and Guy Marchand.
Singing, already
Alongside film, she kept singing. Her first tour, in 1974, was with Sacha Distel. Two years later, a song would change her path.
